# Filtering and Searching in the Laboratory Tab

[The Laboratory Tab](https://app.linkhms.com/laboratory) allows **Laboratory Workers** to manage and track analysis tasks assigned by **Doctors**. Filters and search functionalities make it easy to find specific analyses based on various criteria.

#### Steps to Filter and Search:

* **Access the Laboratory Tab:** Navigate to the [Laboratory](https://app.linkhms.com/laboratory) tab from the side menu.

* **Apply Filters:** Use the filter buttons located at the top of the list to narrow down the displayed analyses. The filters include:

* **To Do**: Shows pending analyses.
* **In Progress**: Displays analyses currently being processed.
* **Waiting for Results**: Lists analyses awaiting results.
* **Done**: Completed analyses are displayed here.
* **Failed**: Shows analyses marked as failed.
* **All**: Displays all analyses, regardless of status.

#### Search for an Analysis:

* Use the search bar located at the top-right corner to search for specific analyses.

* You can type keywords related to the type of analysis, patient name, or any other relevant field.
* Press the **Enter** button and you will receive the result of searching.

#### Pagination Control:

If the number of analyses exceeds the display limit, you can use the pagination control at the bottom of the page to navigate between pages of analyses.

#### 💡Notes:

* **Laboratory Workers** can only change the statuses of analyses; other roles may only view analysis details.
* The filtering and search options help you quickly locate and manage tasks in the lab workflow.
