# What Happens If Subscription Payment Fails?

To maintain full access to LinkHMS, it’s important to keep your subscription payment information up to date. This article outlines what happens if a payment fails, how to resolve it, and what access changes occur if the subscription isn’t renewed.

## Accessing Subscription Settings

* **Navigate to Settings and Open the Subscription Tab:**

As an admin, click on [Settings](https://app.linkhms.com/admin-settings/subscription) in the side menu. In **Settings**, go to the [Subscription](https://app.linkhms.com/admin-settings/subscription) tab to view your payment details, renewal date, and billing summary.

## Subscription Renewal and Notifications

* **Next Billing Date**: You’ll see your next charge date in the top right corner of the [Subscription](https://app.linkhms.com/admin-settings/subscription) tab.

* **Reminder for Subscription Renewal**: Prior to your renewal date, a red icon (!) will appear next to the **Subscription** **tab** if payment information is missing or needs updating.

## What Happens If Your Payment Fails?

If the subscription payment is not successful on the due date, LinkHMS will display a warning notification with a red icon (!) next to the **Subscription tab** and the Settings icon. The notification message will read: **Please consider renewing your subscrtiption to continue using LinkHMS and get full access to its all featires.**

#### System Access After Failed Payment:

* **Access Limitations for Admin**: The day after a failed payment, only the admin will have access to the **Settings** page to update billing information or contact support.
* **Access Restrictions for Other Users**: All other user roles will be unable to log in. If they attempt to log in, they’ll see a message: ​**You cannot log in because the subscription was not renewed. Please contact your admin for further details.**

* If users were logged in at the time of the failed payment, they will be automatically logged out.
* **Multiple Workspaces**: If you have access to multiple workspaces, you’ll receive a notification indicating that you cannot log into some workspaces due to an unpaid subscription.
